As I grow my site, there are a whole bunch of things that I’m trying to do. This page lists the individual goals that I’d like to reach. They range from things that I would like to add to the blog, like features and lists, to goals, both personal and monetary. So take a look and enjoy. I’ll also try and put a few other metrics next to each goal after I complete them - things like total readers, money made, etc.
Site Goals:
- Get the banner ad running as a google adsense ad COMPLETE 3/25/2009
- Fill in the 125×125 blocks with ads through an ad network
- Sell private party ads
- Generate enough detailed posts to create a valuable ebook (so I can give it away for free)
- Get approved for ReviewMe
- Write my first review
- Get the Ultimate Footer Ad installed
- Get an Aweber account setup (with detailed confirmation instructions)
- Feedburner chicklet (once over 500 readers)
- Twitter chicklet COMPLETE 3/25/2009
- Separate RSS feed (so I can include ads and other goodies)
- Podcast/Video integration
- Weekly radio show
- Come up with at least one “evil” plan as linkbait for John Chow
- Post three major articles per week and at least one minor article per day
- Get accepted at one affiliate marketing network COMPLETED 4/6/2009 (MarketLeverage)
- Get my first affiliate account and link setup COMPLETED 3/25/2009 (Bluehost)
